Defending America
September 11 was made possible by 50 years of US appeasement of the Arab states that use terrorism to wage war against us, and of the Islamic Fundamentalist movement that seeks to overthrow Western Civilization.

President Bush, despite his reputation as a "hawk," is essentially carrying out the same appeasing policy as his predecessors: treating state sponsors of terrorism as misguided potential friends—treating terrorists as inexplicable lunatics to be "hunted down one by one"—evading the obvious role of Islam in Islamic terrorism
soliciting world approval before taking military action—fighting altruistic "wars" that sacrifice American self-interest to the cause of "liberating" and "rebuilding" enemy countries.

Those of us who value our lives should be outraged about Bush's appeasing policies, (not comforted by the fact that a Democrat would be even worse) and fight openly for America to use its military might to quickly end the Islamic terrorist threat: to end state sponsorship of terrorism and to end any and all hopes that the Islamic Fundamentalist cause has of succeeding. This page is a source of intellectual ammunition for that fight. In addition to my own articles, I have included links to articles from three of the best writers on terrorism: Leonard Peikoff and Peter Schwartz of the
Ayn Rand Institute, and Angelo M. Codevilla of the Claremont Institute.
